Agreed. If I was interested in becoming a male model, I'd have
to spend even more $$ on clothing and the gym than I do on
music. Unacceptable trade-off.
Just picked up a CD that I haven't seen mentioned on this list before...
Niko MArks & City Boy Players feat. Eddie Fowlkes.
Man this stuff is funky/jazzy as hell! Kinda laid back Detroit house
grooves with a sprinkling of vocals and that definate Fowlkes groove!
It came out on SSR.

Hi Ryan,
You can find it too on R&S records, maybe "easier".
A really good stuff for me too (blue vinyl on Planet e).
If you like this kind of stuff, I think you will apreciate
the new "Parallel 9" ( Steve Rachmad) 2x 12" on Music Man
rec, not as good as bc release but fine too.

It is really good, but it is unlike the Quadrant material on BC. It is a

material. It seems to me that it was a little more geared towards a

Those are all good, but I'd definitely add Rough Trade in Neal's Yard,
Covent Garden (It's in the basement of a skatewear shop), it's one of the
best.

talked briefly with Kenny, nothing like an interview or something. I'll try
to remember and contact Kenny on the album subject.

Good article, but there's a few discrepancies:
1. Fashion policy @ Pure. vs Last quotation from Lulgjuraj.
2. What are Detroit clubs missing, specifically?
3. What is making the 'dance club scene' "energized"? $$?
4. Clubs like Lush and Velvet, who're known for their live band performances
