Hi Alex,
Saw your request on the 313 list.
You should go to Rushhour as well, apart from new

Adress is Spuistraat 130, right in the centre.

But what's the general opinion of 'History of Things to Come' amongst
O'Brien fans then?
A largely misguided diversion or a welcome departure (refering to the
ambient stuff)?
'Veksel' & 'Teentown Beats' though for me are unequivcally excellent.

I agree - I think Gigantic Days gets the balance between jazziness and
electronic-ness exactly right. Desert Scores is an amazing album but
isn't an _album_ in the sense that Gigantic Days is, while History...,

I love desert Scores, but I think Gigantic Days is one of the best electronic
music albums of all time. As Part 1 is one of the few tracks that can reduce me
to tears if it catches me right. A really funky, yet fantasticaly emotive
album.

Monkey Jazz is in the same style as Mad Mike Disease in parts... sorta has a
straight techno ish section and a broken beat mash up towards the end.
Clocking in at around 8 mins so both styles get a run for their
money..highly recomended.
The whole album is a treat, not as jazzy as his Gigantic Da
