I totally agree regarding Voodoo's repeated bookings of the same artist.
Umek recently played for the first time in september and he is already
booked again for november! Same thing with Craig Walsh! (although you may
let them off cos hes part of a primate tour).
Its not the best place for variet
I think sims makes good funky music that is made to be enjoyed, not
analysed!
Ive seen him twice now, once on 3 decks. I thought both times he was
incredible.

I recently saw Steve Bicknell and a couple of months before, Oliver Ho, both
for the first time. I find their style of mixing infinitely more
interesting than a lot of other DJs. I think this is because the music
travels. Bicknell's music I found to have depth and although it didnt

For me, the most important trait of a good DJ is the ability to take the
music somewhere.
To Make one track affect the next, this is something I dont believe Dave
(walking Jukebox) Clarke does at the moment. Thus, the reason he is playing
some very very poor sets.
