Don't think of it as dead, think of it as low maintenance.
The 313 list might be affected by people moving to facebook or forums,
but I'd rather have a small amount of high quality conversation than,
well, facebook, twitter and forums. It's easier to read, easier to
follow, there or no ads, and no

Not that this is really the place to discuss VST plugins but...
Waves plugins are quite expensive and (I would argue) a real pain to use
because of their copy protection. The W1 limiter is a carefully coded clone
of the Waves
