Anyone else noticing the convergence of 'progressive' and the new
minimal (really techno by any other name!). I've just been playing
James Holden's new album and I can understand its appeal to, say,
Richie Hawtin fans. One track, Flute, is very Millsian (think
Utopia). Any thoughts? I really loved Nathan Fake's Border Community
album this year.
