I have it on good authority that the first record of this nature to land in
Manchester was Chip E "Like This".
That was late '86. 4 copies apparently.
The first 'house' record to blow the whole thing up in Manchester was
Adonis "No Way Back".
Apparently that's the one that kicked everything off.
