Omoamusic presents: AYRO ElectronicLoveFunk CD Release Party
featuring John Arnold & Omoamusic labelmate Szymanski
Plus a special live piano performance by Ayro!

Sunday, September 28, 2003
Fifth Avenue, Downtown
9pm, $7

In a small bedroom in a blighted neighborhood on the northwest side of
Detroit, with only a collection of vintage keyboards, an MPC, and a
microphone, Ayro has created ElectronicLoveFunk, his extraordinary debut
full-length album on Omoamusic.

ElectronicLoveFunk is a love story, told from the very beginning. In each
song, Ayro expresses a chapter in his own emotional journey through the joy
and pain of falling in love.

Ayro wrote, produced, played, and sang nearly every note of every song on
the album. Raw, experimental, and eclectic, it traverses genres of soul,
jazz, pop, rock, and techno. It is an album of warm analog chords, lush
polyrhythms, and sweet vocals alongside jazz improvisation.
