He has cut his ties with Elypsia (Belgium) and is starting a new album which will come out on his own fledgling label, Data; he is seriously considering a second imprint for 'listening music.' He wants to finally shed the perception that all he is about is 'minimal techno'; he is actually very diverse. He remains a big hip-hop head, for example, and has cut some beats with Anthony "Shake" Shakir (yet to be released). Philip M got me into his first album, Soft Thru, which came out on Elypsia in 1997. It's a revelation. Also his mix-CD in the DJ Kicks series is considered one of its definitive issues. That's for starters. Oh and Claude is designing a Web site - he is doing it all himself, so that should be cool. Cheers Cyclone
