Anyone seen the reggae one on at the moment bbc2 on Sunday evening

History of reggae from its ska roots, all the jamaican sound systems >wicked
stuff prince buster, jimmy cliff etc

yeah, very nice.
funny thing is, i just bought the book 'bass culture, when reggea was king' by lloyd ..... [i forgot his last name] and it follows the book; same stories. ever since i bought a book i get confronted by the genre every time i turn on the tv. there was a documentary on dutch television about bob marley 2 weeks ago, and now this bbc show [they also showed 'the harder they come' saturday night.] the book is higly recommended i'd say, very insightful, the writer spoke to all the main contributors of the scene, so you get to hear a lot of stories straight from the source. can't wait for the next episode on bbc1 [followed by another episode of '24']
