since the festival required Farina to be exclusive, he bailed. The way he
figured it, if he wasn't going to be paid, he wanted to play in detroit at
another venue this weekend AND get paid.
i believe he's playing at the Majestic with Steve
Then maybe it's true he's not playing because he was only going to do so as
a favour to Carl.
I know that on his first tour of the states he struggled to get a work
permit due to his criminal record (petty theft when he was a child I think).
He ended up heading out to the states without a work per

A criminal record will definitely hinder entry to the
US. My friends father, who's Canadian, was denied
entry a few years back for writing bad checks 30 years
ago.
