Isn't Bill Laswell another person originally from Ann Arbor? He's done some pretty interesting downtempo stuff (as well as some pretty ordinary stuff too). The 2nd CD on that Axiom Dub compilation has been in my player a lot this past week - been addicted to that Mad Professor track. chris
