Hear Ye!Hear Ye!One of the greats is gone...
It's hard to know exactly how to start this. There are allot of people
you'll meet in your lifetime. Some of them you may just pass by on the
street ,make eye contact and never get to know anything beyond that.
You may spend some time afterward
As much as the Trance Europe/Atlantic CDs sorted me out, I also always used to
check each Volume CD as it made its way in to the radio station. Turned me on
to untold quantities of music. Definitely a sad loss. :(

That's shocking news about Rob Deacon. I was in one of the bands on Sweatbox - A
Primary Industry - and knew Rob well from about 1984 to the mid-90s when I kind
of lost touch with him; we did an album and a couple of singles on Sweatbox. I
think he worked for 4AD when I first met him - he was runni
That's terrible news :-(
I have some deep love for the Trance Europe/Atlantic Express compilations.
The whole book with CD thing is a great concept and while it didn't
originate with Mr Deacon - he did it so well.
I'd pour over it for hours whilst listening to the CDs. The Pacific State

Such a shame as he wasn't that old. At least he's not suffering now.

Oh please, let's not get into gun control, or if you want to make it
about gun control, don't do it on 313.
I can certainly go 10 rounds with anyone on this subject, but it won't
bring back those kids

It's hard to say what motivated the shooter. There is even speculation
he planned to attack the "official party" itself which was well-run
on a heavily traveled street and finished at the early hour (for me
anyway :) of 4 am. When they say, "the freaks come out," Seattle
knows how to do that and
OT, but still...
Luther was one of the greats of RnB and one of the last great male singers.
He will defintely be missed by all.
