I would recommend the new release from Southern Outpost - 'The Secret
Society' ep by the Shadow People (Digitek)... some straight up Detroit
Electro for ya booty! ;)
Out next week via Twilight 76 Distribution.
Peace,
Patrick.
Kind of in a similar vein, but a tad mental/abrasive with it: Michael
Forshaw Mixes Chan'n'Mikes, latest in the Serial Scratch cd series (ss5).
Have a listen here: www.chan-n-mikes.com/order/php?id=10

What does everyone think of Mr. Nasty? I saw him play in Toronto over the
summer and thought he rawked it, but you don't really see/hear much about him
Anthony Rother's Electrocommando comp is out on CD. I have it and stonking
it is, although there are few dodgy tracks on it with Rother "singing" in a
dodgy Laibach-style Germanic voice.
Would also like to second the Cocadisco and i-F recommendations

Speaking of electro...
I have a record on Motor City Electro Company, I believe that it is
distributed by Twilight 76, and I love it. It has a track called We Are Not
Alone. Do any of the other releases on this label sound like this?? And
can someone give me some info as to who the artits are??
The legendary 'Electro Boogie' CDs are a must as well. I managed to pick
up a set of three recently (Dave Clarke, Aux 88 & Depth Charge) for a very
reasonable price.

Yup it has Tainted Love from Soft Cell on it, great track!

You've also got to check out Beatzclash, mixed by Keith Tenniswood and
Transparent Sound for the Brit/Euro take on electro.
