i agree. there is definately a gap due to carl's lack of participation.
but also, even if all the big Detroit guys get paid their standard fee,
then that's still not nearly as expensive as last year with flying in
dozens of international artist.
also, i'm quite certain that the first DEMF lost qu
excuse me everyone, but T-1000 is not a mid-tier DJ. He is a high caliber
DJ. I think that everyone here should be happy that this is coming off and
people like PVD and PO and all these other Trance eating mofo's aren't
showing up. This could have turned into total crap.
heh ... you definite

So what you are saying is Santa, the Tooth Fairy, the Easter Bunny, and
Jesus Christ son of God are also on the list to play DEMF. This is going to
be a great show.

then how would you explain the abundance of "big names" the first year of the
DEMF when a big name corporate sponsor wasnt even dreamed of?
so far the very first year of the DEMF was the best. no corporate sponsors,
and no over inflated expectations. just Carl Craig with a Rolodex® full of
talented
no sneak, it sucks that Ford's not a sponsor. What sucks more is that they
didn't get any other big money sponsor, which i suspect is why the A+ acts
of last year have been pretty much replaced by mid-tier or lower DJs.
Nevermind the sour taste i have over Carol Marvin and the committee,

I don't think he got a focus. :P

PS: anyone besides me happy about
Don't forget, there *are* worse possibilities than Carol Marvin running
the DEMF.
I think it is important to remember that, regardless of the lineup, and
fully respecting the decision of each featured artist to perform or to
decline, those of us who attend the festival are there because it is
abou
hear hear!!!
me and laura can now bond against a common enemy!!!
what i find really amusing is watching the responses from the public go
"OMG! OMG! Kevin Saunderson, Roni Size, Rob Hood!!!"
The most popular DJs are the ones that have been pulled.
Its almost as if PCM is begging eveyone to hate
