With respect I don't know how people come to the assumption that certain
artists are after the money without knowing them personally or having met
them and talked to them (you may have I don't know but it doesn't sound like
it). Me and my (shy) ed found MJ unbelievably approachable out here in Jan

I don't think anyone would knock Masters at Work for sounding commercial, so
it's hard to see why anyone could knock 2-step for the same reasons (ok

Yes, it's out internationally - not sure about the US. It's had a very good
reaction out here (in Melbourne, less so Sydney) and it has been supported
by Kiss FM (not related to UK) radio.
I know some are not feeling it, which is cool and I do respect that (though
I'm a huge fan of Stacey's stuff!
Is the album out proper yet? If so, are there any new opinions on it? As
some folk will recall I thought it was awful (unlike Vertigo, which is quite
good), other folk have told me it grows on you, but it hasn't done so yet.
It's still cack IMHO: the broken beats connection is there, but it's a muc

It's not a sample, baby, it's a real opera singer.
Me, I love it but you all know that.
The single got a good review in The Face too, incidentally, by someone who
obviously knows their stuff.

I had a copy of it, but minus the art work, in Sept. I really love it. It
reminds me of the Laurent Garnier album which was

I had a listen to the new Stacey Pullen LP over the weekend (advance promo
off a friend who's promoting it in the UK, it isn't out yet) and it is
*incredibly* disappointing. Apart from the track that is due to be released
as a single (with an opera vocal sample), which sounds like a prog
