Thanks a LOT to everyone who tuned in for the 3rd edition of Techno Radio last night. We had a very enjoyable show. Sorry for the quick cutoff of that DJ Assault "Hoes" track, but uh, I think that violates FCC Regulations. Either way, it got you listening. Special thanks to both Hypo and Foster who joined Jen, Jason, and me in the studio last night. Both Hypo and Foster had a fun time and dropped some really phat beats. Thanks to Jason for his now-part-of-the-show "Fifteen Minutes of Fame." Jason dropped some nice trance for ya we hope you enjoyed. We put our playlists online! Thats right, if you heard something you wanna hear again, check out our playlists. You might learn a thing or two about new electronica artists, so check out who we play. You can find the playlists on our new website: http://kwur.wustl.edu/technoradio -i encourage you to LOOK at the playlists- Next week we have a VERY VERY special show for you. This is the show I think will hopefully give more momentum to techno. DJ Cougar Shuttle will be joining me in the studio. We will be presenting to you an ALL DETROIT TECHNO show. We're giving credit where credit is due, and we wanna expose some of that great Detroit sound to you. Detroit has been a pioneer city with more producers of elite techno coming out of it than any other city on earth. We will be playing old skool & new skool tracks, and we're gonna try to educate you on the past present & future of techno, and the artists. Expect some hard stuff, some minimal, some relaxed, some electro, all sorts of the Techno genre. We are accepting requests for this Detroit Techno show. If you have a favorite 313 artist/song you want played, hit me up, we'll play it if we have the vinyl or can download the MP3. Tune in next Tuesday, This is a show you DO NOT want to miss. [your participation and feedback is encouraged] We have Kanned Beatz 2 coming up this Thursday. This is a great show which goes to benefit KWUR, Washington Universitys radio station.
