Some people think that not only do the forces of darkness have search 'bots
trawling the net for signs of artist names and track
titles to find anyone that might possibly be hosting music on the net but that
when these 'bots see robots.txt telling them where
they can't go these particular ones go
robots.txt?
no good?

I don't think that there are many underground dance labels that are
directly or indirectly affiliated with the RIAA. If you go to the
RIAA website they have a long list of labels under the heading
'Distributed Labels of Reporting Companies':

people got heavy with Robin so I

Need someone to tell me what
Moodymann tracks are on these
respective comps:
Adventures In Techno Soul (Ferox)
Abstract Fusion (Trackmode/Music Is)
(Is the latter just a track from
the MU001 EP he did for Music Is?)
Also, anyone know if there are any
other comps w/exclusive K

The whole point of radio is promotion. That's very poor promotion (on the
station's part) when they fail to frontsell or backsell a track (especially
a new one). For while, I think it was Warner Bros. that was affixing big
labels to its promotional music that said "When you play it, SAY IT."

i hear a song i like on the radio (whether commercial
or college or public) and they don't backannounce it.
from a personal perspective:
on the live radio show and the syndicated show announcing
every track played is imperative to me and always has
