------- Additional comments from nm...@openoffice.org Fri May 7 02:43:09 +0000 2010 ------- 5/6/2010 This may not even be a defect. I am using OpenOffice 3.2 wordprocessor. I am able to insert special characters from the menu, as described in the help section. [Insert, Special Characters] and then selecting the appropriate character. However, when I try to insert special characters using the keyboard per "help" it instructs to use shift+ctrl+S. When I used shift+ctrl+S it opens the "save as" dialogue box instead of the special characters box. I am using a blank document, not a form or template. Is this a bug? or a user error? or are the help instructions to obtain special characters incorrect? Looking forward to a response, nmhln NOTE: 3.2 was not available to select in the Platform field above this Description section. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
