------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Oct 10 11:16:44 -0700 2005 ------- Hi, if I create a table in calc with some values in the 'date'-format and some values in 'standard'-format and save this as csv-file (separated with ';') all numeric values will change to 'date' after an import in base (per 'Connect to an existing database' - in my german version 'Verbindung zu einer bestehenden Datenbank herstellen'). My Sample-File to test this: "Verkaufsgebiet";"Datum";"Produkt";"Menge" "Nord";23.02.2002;"Fruchtgummi";4 "Süd";25.03.2002;"Zimtstangen";7 "Süd";01.01.2002;"Zimtstangen";2 "Nord";04.01.2002;"Fruchtgummi";5 "Nord";03.02.2002;"Fruchtgummi";3 "Süd";31.03.2023;"Fruchtgummi";5 "Ost";20.03.2002;"Fruchtgummi";3 "Süd";07.02.2002;"Fruchtgummi";9 "Nord";19.02.2002;"Fruchtgummi";8 In this case all values from the field "Menge" are will changed to dates, the other fields are mutated to 'Text [VARCHAR]' (the 'date'-field also) Regards, Axel --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
