When create a new file in Writer, many menu items can be selected are actually non-sense. There are 2 types of errors: 1. The entry has sub-entries, but none of them is visible (a) Edit/Object 2. The entry has sub-entries, but all of them are selectable, i.e. Shows as grey (a) Format/Anchor (b) Format/Wrap (c) Format/Arrange (d) Format/Flip (e) Format/Group (f) Format/Object (g) Table/Delete (h) Table/Select (i) Table/AutoFit (j) Table/Convert I also did some following-up test, the result is: 1. For type 1, if use Insert/Object or other way to insert an object, then the sub-entries of Edit/Object show up, but may need to be not selectable without any object 2.
