------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Mar 21 00:49:03 -0800 2005 ------- 1. OO installed for first time without associating MS Office files 2. Association done by Add Remove Programs -> Open Office -> Modify (as suggested by Help). This worked. 3. When MS PPT file was opened, all MS Office files changed back to original (as to be opened by MS Office applications) 4. When I tried to associate again as in 2., it didnt work. The associations remained as original. MS Office version 2003. I suspect this is some underhand dealing done by MS Office. Not sure.
