------- Additional comments from radosl...@openoffice.org Fri Jul 3 19:28:07 +0000 2009 ------- One of the biggest fallacies that I find with OpenOffice Calc is that when you type 7/8 in an empty cell it interprets it as 07/08/09 and there is no way to disable this. The work around is: Format Cells->Text, then retype the entered entity. It seams to me that this is an annoyance in the way that most likely the user will want to type a string and not a date (for example 07/04 could mean day/month, month/year, fraction, two different choices (as in min/max)). Currently there is no option to disable this unwanted behavior or to modify it.
