------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri Dec 2 02:55:16 -0800 2005 ------- I use KDE 3.4.1 with Kubuntu Hoary. When I try to print something from Writer fresh after booting Linux it does not find my CUPS printer. Only the generic (default) printer is present in the pull-down list. Printing fails. I close Writer. Now I have to first to select print... from any kde application. The cups printer shows correctly in the list. I do not print anything. When I now restart Writer the printer is present in the list. this is a quite annoying problem...It actually prevents printing unless the user performs some other actions first. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
