Hi,

First... really great job on merge performance with version 2.0.1 comparing to
2.0.0 !!!
Second, almost like in issue 48509, 48146, 56528 and I think 50385...

We have big mailmerge with big datasources (sometimes 2000 adresses, sometimes
80 000 ...). So I use preformatted mailing document and sql request with named
parameters (because we don't print 80000 letters in one time, but, for example,
with a named parameter on zip code).

The process we use :

- Open the source document in writer
- Press F4 . The previously used datasource opens and query for the parameter
- The filtered data are displayed and all the buttons are usable (like 'data to
fields' to have a preview on a single item)

VERSION 1.1.5 (and previous):
- Click on the mailmerge button, choose the printer and that's all folks !

VERSION 2.0.0 and 2.0.1 :
- Click on mailmerge button : it opens the mail merge wizard with 7 steps and 2
problems :
       - The wizard ignore the named parameter. If you use a data request with
named parameter , it returns no value
       - Without named parameter on request, it's ok but, as wizard merge in a
new document, it's really slower than direct printing.
As a workaround, I've good old dialog window in the Document tool bar but :
    - This dialog box don't remember the previous datasource for the document
and you have to select it again and give the parameter when asked.
    - This dialog box is a little bit small and can't be resized. So it's
painful to use it.
    - The toolbar isn't effective in this dialog box. You can't do a 'data to
fied' preview for example

So, leave the mailmerge wizard button, but in parallel please give back to us
the old mailmerge button in the datasource toolbar. The new wizard is really
good for new mailmerge with little datasource, for microsoft addict ;-), but the
old way was more effective for previously prepared mailing document with bigggg
datasources.

I try to make an attachement with an example. The named parameter is 'langue' (
language) and values are from 1 to 5. Adresses in files are from real customer,
so it's confidential informations, even if there are shuffled.

Thank you for all your work!
