Is this card worht getting used? I mean one can get it for about $50
buck on ebay. How much of this sound system is supported? Is the
breakout box supported? Does AC3 passthrough work? Does SPDIFF work?
There may be a lot better card's out there. Let's say the Game Theater
XP is good

Hei!
I have recently installed my Guillemot Fortissimo II (with Cirrus Logic
CS 4614/22/24 chip) on my Linux 2.21 PC. Everything went fine. I used
alsamixer to adjust the volume and I put some sound... nothing.
I tried a simple cat sample.au /dev/audio, it seemed to work except that

Hi,
I'm having some trouble with snd-sb16 in kernel 2.6.0-test4-mm2. I have
it compiled in, as opposed to loading as a module. I'm trying to get it
to use an IRQ other than 5. The source (sb16.c) says it will take 5, 7,
9, or 10. It also says that the format is:
snd-sb16=enable,index,id,is
