Hi, I was successfully using ALSA drivers on 2.4.22 kernel, but I wanted to try a new kernel. And then a problem occured. snd_via82xx with both cases built-in or as module gives no sound It loads with warrning about DXS support. Channels are unmuted and set laudly. Seems OK at this point. Now play

Hi! I have an Abit IS7 motherboard, which has the Intel 865PE / ICH5-R chipset with the ALC650 CODEC onboard. I'm running Mandrake 9.1 with the 2.4.21-0.25mdk kernel. And I've downloaded and successfully installed ALSA 0.9.7a drivers, and 0.9.7 lib, oss, tools, utils. Alas, all is not perfect -
