Hi guys, I am trying to upgrade alsa0.5(which is working fine) to alsa1rc2 under Suse 7.1 (Sound Braster live 5.1 card) I have recompiled kernel 2.4 with sound support as instructed. Installed kernell run lilo. All went fine. Alsa 0.5 still working... then ./configure alsa 1 driver make when c

Hi list. I was just wondering.. I use XMMS often (like many others) for playing music, and wondering if anyone noticed that the 'balance' control seems a bit out of wack? It doesnt really shift sound between left and right --rather it slowly just lowers the volume, as you move it, back and fort
