I'll try removing them

I've been previously using ALSA 0.98 with a SBlive 5.1. The SPDIF
worked by default, even did AC3/AC5 passtrhu. After upgrading to 1.0.1
the SPDIF seems to be off by default.

Hi all,
While lurking on this alsa-user thread, I felt that I'm in great need to

following USB audio/midi adapters:
1) EDIROL UA-20
2) TASCAM US-122
3) M-AUDIO QUATTRO
Which one do you recommend, regarding ALSA _and_ JACK suppo

I'm running a SuSE 9.0, and replaced the default OSS driver with ALSA

I redirected all my sound output through the SPDIF interface using
/etc/asound.conf :
pcm.nforce-hw {
type hw
card 0
}
pcm.
