[Alsa-user] How to setup OSS emulation for /dev/midi ==> TiMidity server connection?

Hello, I'm running TiMidity in ALSA server mode (-iA) at my soundcard without any native MIDI support. It works well using ALSA playback or OSS emulation of /dev/sequencer. However, what I need is to play using [better and simpler] /dev/midi API, but it doesn't work. Is there any way to enable /d

Hello, as written in ALSA 1.0.11rc2 announcement for snd-emu10k1, "Sound capture. (untested, might already work.)". So, I'm asking, whether the analog sound capture work at this card -- can anyone here tell me? I'd really like to know this before buy. Thank you very much. Marek P.
