hello, as i don't get any answers form the xmms list, i have to ask it here, as it is an alsa (setting) "problem" anyway:
is it possible to enable a pure ac3 pass-through for xmms? I'm currently using version 1.2.7 and alsa drivers & co. (0.9.8). I've got a soundblaster audigy and I'm using the digital output and an external decoder. sound is working fine with xine and mplayer.
