Hi!
I've discovered a bad bug with my alsa and my delta 1010lt. The input volume
was much to low for a long time, but I thought it was the cable, because a pin
was a bit disfigured. Now I found out it was alsa.
Alsamixer doesn't display the ipga-analog volume controls and it crashes
with a friendly notice when the cursor is positioned at "multitrack peak" and
I move right. I think it said something like: simple_mixer,c 1075 and
something about helem failed.
  Here's a bit of info:
  kernel: linux 2.6.11.8
  Alsa kernel-internal: 1.0.8
  alsa-lib/alsa-utils: 1.0.9
  cards: Maudio delta 1010LT

This problem exists since 2.6.10 for sure. But the ipga-problem exists only
in alsamixer, for I could set it by hand (editing asound.state)
  Thanks for any help/fixes!
  Kindest regards
        Julien
