Gary, Thanx for the input! I already have $max_servers set at 5...and I have ensured that Postfix & Amavisd are matching (causes chaos when they don't match!) Also, I am definitely using Net::Server 0.90 - already been through the chaos, too, of 0.91 & 0.92...so we should be good there as well..
