I think, that was the version, where this happened to me as well. It is
rather outdated. Just get a current version, and the problem will be gone!

Sorry about a stupuid question. I have the problem, that we have a
mailing list with mailman on one of our servers, and some robot keeps
sending subscribe notices to the address of the mailing list (about 200
every day from varying sender addresses). The only thing that stays the
same is the s
Have you got a page I could look at the output of mailgraph
I used it before, but was not happy with the output, but maybe I didn'tget
it right?
Thanks,

You might be able to build it yourself. I did. But then I a mnot using
SuSE but CentOS
If you go to
http://dag.wieers.com/rpm/packages/rrdtool/
You can find a src rpm package.
If oyu need help, let me know,

Hi,
I am using CentOS and it works well. I found that you have to use
rrdtool-1.50 and not the new one rrdtool-1.2xx
Then it should work,
Hope this helps,

Hi,
I am running a similar setup with sendmail on CentOS5, which is almost the
same as RHEL5.1
However I am not using clamscan but the daemonized version clamd, and that
has worked very well so far. You just have to make sure that the users
running amavisd and clamd are the same.
clamav h
You'll find the program at:
http://www.arix.com/perl/cpan2rpm/
What I would do is try and build rpms for the modules (including
spamassassin) wit hthe cpan2rpm program.
It is quite easily done. You need to pass the name of the moduzle to it
like
cpan2rpm Compress::Zlib
and it will download
Hi,
you might try to install the same again with rpm, by using cpan2rpm. This
should overwrite your cpan install but also update your rpm db. Then ypu
should at least know, what is required to install.
cpan is great, but if you wnat to keep your installation clean, you shoudl
always use cpan2
Make sure, you hava only one Zlib.pm in your perl folder.
i.e. something like this: (on my CentOS5)
/usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.8/Compress
/usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.8/Compress/Zlib.pm
/usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.8/auto/Compress/Zlib
/usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.8/auto/Compress/Zli
It looks like you are running RHEL4. WHy don't you just uninstall the perl
module like this:
rpm -e perl-Compress-Zlib
if it won't do that use:
rpm -e --nodeps perl-Compress-Zlib
And then reinstall the package with
up2date -i perl-Compress-Zlib
or if you have the dag wieers repo:
yum inst
This is what I have, and it works fine:
$policy_bank{'SMTP_AUTH'} = { # mail originating from autheticated users
originating => 1, # is true in MYNETS by default, but let's make it
# explicit
bypass_spam_checks_maps => [1],
os_fingerprint_method => undef, # don'
If you want to use the policy banks you have to use the AM.PDP socket, and for
that you must use the amavisd-milter from Pietr.
If you need help setting it up let me know. It's not a big deal at all.
I also have an rpm for Pietrs amavisd-milter, which you can have.
Good luck,
.peter
On Wed,
Hi,
I use a sendmail setup with milter, which does excactly what you want to
do.
You must use Pietr amavisd-milter. Then it is just a matter of setting a
policy in amavisd.conf. What sendmail setup do you use?

yum install clamd,
then follow Patrick's instructions.
