Hi All, I downloaded the Android source code from "git:// android.git.kernel.org/platform/manifest.git" (Master branch) and able to compile and running. Now I would like to download the kernel part (Need to compile some kernel modules not yet decided which device/ OEM) which is not downloaded along with the above branch.
1. Can anyone point me what is the mapping kernel branch for the above master branch code? or Can I download any branch and which does not create any problem to existing master branch? 2. Should I have to keep both master branch and kernel code in same directory on my system or can I keep separate? Because I don't want to create any compilation problems/running issues on my existing master branch. Any help in this regard is appreciable.
