I ask Harrys & Owner of the building to write a letter to the VFW asking if
they could move the cement wall & drain put in back 10 feet on Bond St for
their receyles put they could also have a fence put infront of it & in And fill
the pot holes they created from their deliveries & had loading put in front
of it this could solve alot problems.They will donate everything but the Owner
of the building has to have it done or supervise it.I have work for several
contractors & Bill Sitar (owner of building) I work for Bill in the past &
sevral contrctors some contractors have no princples.This would also show the
VFW members & our patrons good faith by fixing the cement wall that was crack
from their garbage cans.This needs to be voted on in a meeting by our members I
would also need to meet with Marshall Kopltz & talk with him.Last owner (John
Dorian) wouldn't sit down & talk with me about use of the Lot.City
Manager,Council & Owner of the building ask him several times John Dorian
wanted to talk to his General Manager.General Managers & Co Owners they come &
go in a Restaurant Business.That the reason I need to talk with the main
owner.Cookman Ave is coming together nice.When we wasn't useing the lot before
Harrys we didn't care if people park their.Harrys created alot of problems with
thier garbage from patrons,attuide & deliveres blocking our patrons when they
open.The City should have thought about a unloading zone & garbage area before
they let it open.The VFW was never contacted by the city or John Dorian when
they open.I was a Commander than if John Dorian sat down & talk alot of this
crap wouldn't be going on know.My past Commander Joe Scott(WWII) & his Father
(WWI) that had a music&tv business for several decades several people on this
site might remeber him in Asbury told me once when I ask what happen to Asbury
Park he said people come in town start something make a quick $$$ & leave the
city with any problems they had.I guess he was right the told me this 6 years
ago.Their is a saying.{The Older the Wiser}
