Gerry,
you may want to tell your reporter friend to check her facts before

Hey guys,
I've got the scoop. I had dinner
Wednesday night with the New York Times reporter,
Jill Capuzzo ( who has covered other Asbury Park stories.)
During dinner, she told me she has a big
expose coming out in this Sunday's New York Times (New Jersey Section) on

I think "your" Danny is still here. He works as a beach entry
attendant and is a regular at the Kingsley Deli, if it's the same
person. I've never seen him flapping around though.
How about the guy with long white hair and beard who always looked up
at the sky as if following the power lines t
when I had a store on the BW in the early 80's - I fed almost
everyone of them - and cloth them...I favorite was "danny" -
danny's "handicap" was that he at times would run up and down the

But you've got to admit the plan to deinstitutionize was a disaster.
I've lived among the deinstitutionized in two towns: NYC & Ocean

The discussion of "escaped mental patients" I quite bizzare. Yes,
Asbury Park, Ocean Grove, etc., had a large population of people with
handicaps. But not for the reasons believed, such as: escape, State
dumping, etc.
Hotels and rooming houses were having a hard time due to he decline

Heather:
How we soon forget the political correctness of yesteryear. Today, Aids, Drug Addiction,Homelessness, etc., are sociably acceptable entitlements. But when Asbury was termed a dumping ground for a lump sum group of escaped mental patients, society was in denial about the social i
Dear Mrs. Ricks:
As a grandparent of school age children, may I ask for your support in helping me as a BOE Candidate # 5 to implement a strong "Media Arts Program"in the district should I be elected to the Board?
As you know, I've showcased many events from Asbury Park on my "MSP TV
Joe,
Are ALL Candidates invited, or just the ones your group interviewed and or endorsed? Being I was interviewed by your group, thou not allowed to video tape, I'm still one of the Candidates running, and I wouldn't want to be embarrassed as a party crasher if I showed up.
