Do I know who did it? No. What I do know is that the way it was done and how
the FCC works it had nothing to with the FCC. It came from somewhere else and
the state legislature doesn't have that kind of juice.
The FCC that has been cut beyond the bone and into the marrow. The FCC
doesn't
There was a Haitian pirate outside of NYC in Queens I believe that the FCC
shutdown. It wasn't being broadcast illegally the station in Queens itself was
illegal.

Come on Fred, you usually do more investigation than that. It's at 414
Asbury Ave, right next to the Hatian church. I forgot, you do not r

Your prior post is asserting something about calling in a favor to a
congressman or senator.
I believe you are making things up there. You have no facts about
that - you are pulling it out of thin air.
Asbury Park isn't exactly a bastion of votes for anyone. They
certainly aren't going to do

Zoning Board. Where is your proof of politics? Maybe the owner of the
building wants them out. Maybe the FCC got involved the FBI raided

Glad you asked Fred. As a matter of fact there are antennas in the
neighborhood. Take a ride along there and see for yourself.
I have dealt with network and local TV stations for past thirty five years so

Normally, you apply for a station move with the FCC and either build a separate
system and switch it over so there is no off-air outage. If you can't afford
that you do the paperwork and then take the station off the air and move it.
According to FCC rules a station may remain off the air for up
Duh. The station has no problems. They simply have to get their antenna higher
in the air to cover the community. They have to file a variance with the AP
zoning board so the decision is up to AP. According to the FCC the antenna
can't stay at the height is at now. You were saying?

I know this station has a bit of history not being compliant with the FCC. I
also know that even if you are moving locations, you are not off the air for
this length of time. I saw they applied for zoning. Did they move into a new
location prior to zoning approval?

Where did they move to? Did they do their homework? Can you have a
antenna that big in that area? Is it residential? Get the facts

The station was forced to move by the FCC. I have been in the broadcasting
business for over thirty years and quite familiar with the inner workings of
the FCC. The FCC is not a proactive organization anymore instead they do as
they are told.
In my opinion, the FCC was motivated to remove
