Thanksgiving meals offered throughout area

The following area churches and other organizations are offering
free Thanksgiving meals:
SUNDAY
ASBURY PARK: Community Thanksgiving Dinner, 12:30 p.m., Bethel
A.M.E. Church, 1001 Cookman Ave.
TUESDAY
ASBURY PARK: Holiday dinner, 1 to 3 p.m., Jersey Shore Rescue
Mission, 701 Memorial Drive.
WEDNESDAY
ASBURY PARK: Holiday dinner, 5 p.m., First United Methodist Church,
906 Grand Ave.
THURSDAY
ABERDEEN: Thanksgiving Day dinner, 1 p.m., Matawan United Methodist
Church, 478 Atlantic Ave. If you are planning to attend, call (732)
566-2996.
ASBURY PARK: Piancone's Restaurant of Bradley Beach will host a
Thanksgiving dinner for all those in need from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at
the city fire house, Main Street and Asbury Avenue.
ASBURY PARK: Thanksgiving Day dinner, Market in the Middle, 11 a.m.
to 3 p.m., Asbury Park House, Asbury Avenue and Main Street.
LONG BRANCH: Free Community Thanksgiving Day dinner from noon to
2:30 p.m., St. Luke's United Methodist Church, 535 Broadway. To
volunteer or make a donation, call Chef Jerome Turner at (732) 979-
8720 or Avery Grant at (732) 229-9398.
NEPTUNE: The Beacon Street Grille, 3205 Route 66, will be closed to
the public Thanksgiving Day to serve Thanksgiving dinner from 11
a.m. to 2:30 p.m. to those in need. OCEAN GROVE: Dinner, 11 a.m. to
3 p.m., Krisanna's Coffee Shop, Ocean
Grove Community Room, Pilgrim Pathway.
RED BANK: Lunch Break, 121 Dr. James Parker Blvd., noon
until "everyone gets a seat and a meal.'' To donate, call Lunch
Break at (732) 747-8577.
Nov. 25
ASBURY PARK: Lunch, noon, Trinity Episcopal Church, 503 Asbury Ave.
Nov. 26
ASBURY PARK: Holiday dinner, 4 p.m., Salvation Army Center, 605
Asbury Ave.
