My quest of many years ago, as City Historian and Founder/President 
of the Asbury Park Historical Society, to return Schnitzler's 
Roundabout and Observatory to Asbury Park's Palace has come to an 
end. The wheel is going back to its place of birth.

ASBURY PARK — The Asbury Park Ferris Wheel is on its way home, but 
not to this city's beachfront, where the historic attraction 
prevailed for almost a century.

The Palace Amusements ride designed by Ernest Schnitzler in the 
1890s will become an art exhibit at the town and foundry where it 
was built in the early 1890s — Phoenixville, Pa....
