Werner called this morning to ask what people said in his favor at last night's council meeting. Unfortunately, I think I was the only one who spoke about it at the mic. Frank feared losing it and bounding across the dais and Rita followed me, so used her 3 min. for budget stuff that needed exposure. Werner is very upset about Shields' use of the quote from Werner about having not been thinking clearly because he'd taken a painkiller. She didn't say that he'd taken it because he was recovering from a motorcycle accident. That's really irresponsible. I just can't picture her doing the same to John Loffredo. Got to get back to work.
