I'd like to see the numbers for g729 and ilbc :)
Speex ouch... No wonder I haven't seen it in any devices yet (although
the PA168 is supposed to get it in some future release... after iLBC is
done).

with speex 1.1.7, with fixed point and arm assembly enabled... I was

I would like to know if it is possible to code/decode g.729 flow with a hardware card (thanks to FPGA/DSP) for a asterisk pbx? What is the performance of such a system?
The reason of this question is not to avoid paying a fee to digium, but a question of having a lower CPU load.
