Welcome home Mark! That sounds like great news for the community and Digium.
I'm sure you hear it all the time, but thanks for all your hard work
with Asterisk over the years. When I first discovered Asterisk three
years ago never expected that it would become the foundation of my own
daily work

voip-info.org is probably one of the most popular resources out there,
however it doesn't have much of the business info you are probably
looking for.

I've had similar experiences when trying to use their forgot password
function. I never seem to get their email.

Sounds like a question for Intrado. Give them a call. They were very
plesant to chat with, though definitely out of my price range.

This may no longer be an option. About a week ago when I went to
dash911.com it came up as this page http://www.telefinity.com/ecs/. If
you notice, it says "Dash911 product no longer available as a
standalone product".

This is certainly true. If you have the volume you can get better
pricing. I'd sure love to know where I could get termination for
.0008. Did you mean .008?

Sounds like you get what you pay for... If you don't pay a provider a
reasonable rate they simply cannot afford to provide reliable service,
and they end up going under like so many we have seen come and go.

Forgive me if this is a stupid question, maybe this thread started
under a different subject that I missed...
What exactly is the announcement here? What is the biz? Who or what is
the service that IPKall is now onboard to help out with? Hasn't IPKall
been around for a while? Just curious what thi
Is there an up-to-date list somewhere of devices (ATAs / Hard-Phones /
Soft phones) that have been verified to work with DNS SRV
load-balancing & failover?
If you use a certain model that works, please let me know. I just need
to know what my options are if I should I go this route.
Thanks!

I have seen mostly a one time charge of around $25. I would personally
stay away from anyone wanting to charge a monthly fee.
