The settings you are asking varies in different countries and providers. You
need to contact you provider for it.

Subject: [asterisk-users] zaptel/dahdi settings for singtel E1
Anyone here who has configured zaptel/dahdi for a singtel E1 line?
What are the settings for coding, framing, line type and switchtype?

New to Asterisk? Joi
Hi
I've been running into a weird issue, which its hard to get any information
on. We successfully setup a R710 system with Asterisk 1.4.22 / libpri 1.4.7,
utilizing a Digium TE121B Pci express card. However we are having some
stability issues and can't seem to trace it down to if it is a card/sys

You are correct sir; I wrote the code that was supposed to report the
VPM presence via dahdi_scan, but clearly did not test it properly
because it didn't work :-(

hi,
try something like this:
bchan=4-5
hardhdlc=6
echocanceller=mg2,4-5
and then it should look like:
Asterisk-1:~# dahdi_cfg -v
DAHDI Tools Version - SVN-trunk-r6902
DAHDI Version: SVN-trunk-r6946
Echo Canceller(s): MG2

Thanks ..
I added to /etc/dahdi/system.conf the following:
echocanceller=mg2,1-10
However, I have no clue about the various echo canceller, between mg2,
kb1, sec2, and

Hi
That was a fast answer, impressive !

Did you read the upgrade documentation that comes with DAHDI,

Hello
I have upgraded our asterisk box from zaptel to dhadi two weeks ago...
Since, there has been quite a significant amount of echo when making a
call. Only for the local outgoing call, the person on the other side
doesn't hear any echo.
This is with a TE-110P ISDN PRI card ..
I've pretty muc

Is Zaptel no longer available?
I returned to a long shelved project (using TDM400P and a customized, canned
version of *) and, getting to the configuration, find wctdm is not there. I
recall the authors where very "enterprise" oriented and focused on T1 cards.
So they left analog support out.
Is there an install script or step-by-step instruction somewhere on
whaty is needed to migrate from zaptel to dahdi?
I read the document that digium published which nicely states some of
the differences between zaptel and dahdi but i was looking more for
something like step-by-step instructions.

Let me know if I should post this on the asterisk-dev list instead.
I am building a Linux-Vserver (http://www.linux-vserver.org) host system
that will have several guests running Asterisk. Since the guests can't
load kernel modules or do other dangerous stuff, but can access them I
built zapte
