I will be interested to hear your further impressions once you have
gotten used to the Parasound... They certainly make a good amp, but I
have noticed that different amps really mesh well with different
speakers. It really makes it hard to get impressions from others on

IMHO, it's less about how good/expensive your speakers are vs. how much
care has been put into placement and making your room good acoustical

Pat...normalization is apparently not the same in this software. I've
been assured there is no expansion or compression when it is used. In
fact, my software has a separate dynamics filter specifically for
expansion and compression - which I've never felt the need to use.

It wasn't a problem having to do with the Lavry, or the Benchmark, or
the Bryston, or the Classe DACs -- if you want the full run down. It's
just that the SB, on its own, is surprisingly good.

No, of course you can detect jitter -- that's a given. Then again, I'm
speaking in terms that it is a given that the processed signal has
extremely low jitter.

Personally mine has been rock stable. I should put it on the oscope and
