What do people think of the little sonic impact super-T amp? It has had
some great reviews and is very inexpensive (£120 approx i UK)? I am
thinking of hooking one up to a modified SB but would welcome advice on
speaker choice given the relatively low power of the amp. Off to work
soon but will
The dac isn't the bottleneck there. I would go for the analog output
stage and rca connections first. And that's from absolute inexperience.
I suppose if you're good with a soldering iron...

I had interference problems on the AM Band. I contacted SlimDevices and
they sent me a different power supply than came with the standard
device. This has the power converter in the middle of the circuit. I
hope this helps

In fact the volume is attentuated digitally, before the DAC output and
so definitely no change to output impedence.

If just the DAC on the squeezebox were upgraded to the Burr Brown
1748KE, what would the benefits be? Or are there other modifications
that should go along with it? Also would an upgraded DAC benefit both
the analog and digital outputs? Sorry for all the questions. It just
