Try to plug your Denon player through your digital coax input of your
Yamaha : this would give you a clear enough idea of how the Duet will
sound through it. If you find the result acceptable compared to your
Denon CD player's analog outputs, then you can go and get a Duet.

Buy a duet, listen to it, see if its great enough to make you happy. If
so, be happy. If not buy a Transporter and use the duet in another room

Hi, I am trying to figure out whether to get a Duet or a Transporter. I
currently have a Yamaha RX-V2700 receiver which I guess would be
mid-upper range ($1700 when bought new two years ago). I also have a
Rotel 200x5 amp powering my Polk LSi speakers and a big SVS subwoofer.
Given how amazing
dBPoweramp worked great. Thanks!

Did some of the Friends already know or did it test Transporter with
Boulder 2020?
Would they have something to say?

I think you will need to download the flac and convert it to Apple
Lossless. There are free programs for both Mac and PC that will do
this. There will be no loss in quality - it's just like unzipping a
file then re-zipping it.

Hi. I want to download the Linn sampler record from their website. I
can get it in .WMV or FLAC. I'm on a PC w/ iTunes and a 99.9% ALAC
library. What format should I choose to download? Will iTunes
recognize both of them? Will iTunes recognize either of them? Thanks!
