Don't knock it - I've experienced telecoms equipment spontaneously
changing its' programming due to RFI. Changing said equipment out for

Actually, I've read several people who say that being in an anechoic
chamber causes a lot of people to feel very uneasy. It's such an
unnatural experience that it's difficult to feel comfortable.

Let me say it again. I can't hear any difference.
But the latest software will on the fly downsample the very few 24/96
files I have.

Yes. But remember, just because you are being paranoid, that doesn't
mean that they are not out to get you.
I'm listening today to the beta 7.4 stuff, and I hear no difference.

Hello all. In reading through this thread, I "think" that most of the
perceived differences come down to settings; however, being an audio
purist and being quite happy with 7.2.1, I am hesitant to move to 7.3.2
in fear of compromising audio quality in ANY way. Am I being paranoid?
Thanks.

If you believe that airborne RFI is an issue I suppose it follows that
you should screen your equipment - ideally in a Faraday cage.
These guys make all sorts of shielding products, from cable wraps to
Faraday cage tents and even rooms .. tweakers Nirvana. You saw it here
first.

The power supply in question is less that £20.
I am going to stick my neck out here and suggest that rather than spend
a fortune on what appears to be ridiculously expensive aftermarked
linear power supplies use power filtering and isolation on the stock
supply. I have read so many results from so many people and it seems
that sometimes the sw
I run both my SB Duet and my SAT CD player through a benchmark audio

the DAC, my CD player was a clear notch above the Duet although that is
not surprising given it cost about eight times as much.

I would say definetaly not Brian.
Haven't tried it to be honest, but the difference hooking the SB3 up to
the Dac was far bigger than adding the PSU to the SB3/Bdac setup.
It would improve the analogue SB3, this in fact is where most believers
say the difference is made the most.
