The TP does offer a lot more than the SB3, perhaps NOT absoluteely in
the sound department, but the look of the thing, the dual displays, and
if you use the balanced outputs on itThese things all make a
difference for sure to percieved value.
Just goes to show, itsd all subjective.

Is it me, or is this thread starting to sound much better than when it

I am a poor salesman I guess:)
I wantd to be honest and in fact in the right system, I dont doubt that
the TP may be a step up from the SB3. Again, my opinion and YMMV. It
was a lot of money for me to spend and unfortunately it has to go.
I am sure it will find a happy home soon!

You probably should have sold it BEFORE you told us that it wasn't

Not a recommendation (because I have no experience with the new unit),
but a pointer to updated information...
Lavry just introduced the DA11, which is supposed to be an improved

There's no doubt - and I'm very skeptical there ever was - that speaker
drivers change
Interesting to note in this thread that the general impression seems to
be that I bought the 4A psu deliberately. Not so ... It was merely the
only one with an IEC mains inlet that I could find at the time. If I
could have found one with the same rating as the wallwart psu then i
would no doubt ha
It should be burned in by the time the sound waves reach your ears.

A few years ago, when some of us were saying that speakers require
burn-in, most of the industry were saying that all this is nonsense.

-after all- there is some burn-in involved.
Some peoples' opinion need burn-in. :)
