The consensus around here about the SB3 (similar to the SBR) is that a linear power supply won't improve performance because of the design downstream. However, if you have equipment susceptible to RFI it could help with that. Most people would say an external DAC will improve things a lot. I'm on

I have a Transporter and have just ordered 2 Nuforce mono amps 9V2 SE and the Nuforce p9 pre amp. They will drive B&W speakers which I currently have bi amp with Arcam A90 and P90. Really looking forward to the new gear. Any ideas on set up tips and or experience with the Nuforce amps? -- David
