Steve, that would be very cool if you can accomplish this. Good luck
and please let us know how it turns out!

Seriously, inside TP how many RF components are inside??? As long as RF
shielding (using mu-metal divider) is good enough with separate power
supply (with RF choke), it should not affect the sound quality. Or just
adding a small arm CPU and about 120MB of ram, squeezebox server can be
ran inside t
Of course you could consider the new Squeezebox Touch with its
integrated server...

I tried inguz , was very difficult to use it to hear difference or
changes - I mean ergonomically wise , so I abandoned it
I also have a Roland AP700 , same thing as the DEQ , earlier model tho
and it too has a veiling effect on the sonics.
What I find both the Roland and DEQ to do is to strip som

Interesting. I should add, I use Inguz for bass EQ and used this way it
sounds completely transparent to me above the bass region. Obviously the
overall level changes but no other effect.

You will still hear the DEQ in the path , bypoass or not..
As I said , the effects of bad bass will be magnitudes bigger as to
it's effects on sonics than the "veil" is.
If you want a truly transparent Par eq , get the Z-sys RDP-1 on ebay ,
that is a classy and VERY transparent unit

Thanks, Rodney
Under ideal conditions, my speakers' response is 23-50KHz +/- 3db (i.e.
they are full range). I do hear pretty good bass, although for some
music I feel there are certain 'holes'. Yet, I tried to figure out 'by
ears' and it is not that simple for me, as we're talking about 20-120Hz
Well you have to set up the DEQ , and what I would suggest is to use it
close to you , there is a small display that is unreadable from far and
getting up to change settings is a mission. If you are only cutting ,
you can keep the overall level unchanged , if you are boosting , you
need to reduce

I would suggest reading on lampizator.eu
and here http://www.bluejeanscable.com/articles/impedance.htm
and some reads on HomeTheaterHiFi (there will be review soon, measuring
jitter with different connectors..)
Anyway,
Once my DEQ arrives, how shall I configure it?
